Tuesday 16th May 2023 - Kansas (Slight Risk)

Started today in Dodge City with a non zero Tornado Risk and a 30% for Wind when Storms congeal into a bowing MCS later in the day. My target today was the Border areas of Kansas, Nebraska and Colorado and Models had storms firing around the Imperial area and dropping ESE into Kansas. Was only hopeful for some structure today and thats what we got thankfully. A very nice Storm rolled into Kansas just north of Burlington around an hour before Sunset and gave us some pretty Structure with blue hour mammatus just North of Goodland. Once again we seemed to miss the hail but there certainly was hail around as you can see from the just before dark pictures of the hail shaft.
