Wednesday 17th May 2023 - CO/KS (Slight Risk)

Started today in Goodland and had a target area of NE Colorado, SW Nebraska and NW Kansas. Much like a repeat of yesterday Storms would form along a stationery Boundary and drift South East before congealing into a big MCS. Our initial Storms once again struggled but around 6pm MDT continued re-development on the South West Side of a Large Supercell near Imperial had us heading south from Wray and across to Bird City then dropping down to Goodland Kansas. Some nice Core Punching to end Tour 1’s Trip and some structure was had but once again Tornado Chances were not really there today due to lack of Moisture. Ended the day in Burlington before the trip back to Denver to finish the trip. A really good Tour 1 with 5,300 Miles driven and 9 Tornadoes observed.
