Monday 12th February 2024 - Northern Lights Tour 2 - Day 3

We awoke today to clear skies on our first Fjord Tour and set off early getting some lunch at our Deli we use. Todays route would take us to the Island South of Kvaloya and some stunning scenery along the way. We stopped at the Tirpitz Wreck on Hakoya first of all and spotted Harbour Porpoises. From there we explored for the rest of the day coming across wildlife on route and taking in the stunning Views.

Sunset was already happening as we made our way back towards our house and we stopped again briefly on the Peninsular called Tisnes and watched as the Sunset around 340pm.

Aurora chances would not be forthcoming for this evening as a system was coming in from the West and most of Norway and Inland Finland would be clouded out but we all needed a nice relaxing evening anyway with an early start the next day for our Husky Sledding adventure.
