Saturday 10th June 2023 - Colorado (Marginal Risk)

We started Tour 4 from Burlington today and would hopefully connect with some storms as they rolled off the Southern Rockies near Pueblo in the early evening. On the travel down we passed through Cheyenne Wells and stopped off at their Fire Department who were celebrating 100 years service and a great time was had by everyone for a few hours. We left there around 4pm and headed towards Lamar then west towards La Junta, a really nice Supercell was moving very slowly and spitting out some really nice Cg Lightning so we watched this as darkness grew closer. We ended the day in Pueblo with tomorrows risk looking much more substantial from Trinidad eastwards towards the Oklahoma Panhandle.
