Thursday 25th May 2023 - New Mexico (Slight Risk)

Another day of Dryline action in much the same area as the previous week, todays Cap should hold stronger though and any storms would not initiate until around 00z, so after the last few days exhausting chases lasting well into the night we opted for an early dinner in Clovis and then to chase from around 7pm onwards. A really nice LP Supercell had erupted pretty much over San Jon and was rolling south towards Clovis so we headed north towards Broadview and set up the Cameras to watch the Structure show and incredible constant strobe lightning. This went on for hours until our camera batteries literally ran out and we headed back to Clovis for the night. A very slow chase day but rewarding with structure in the end.
