Sunday 21st May 2023 - SW Kansas (Marginal Risk)

After a bust day yesterday in SE Colorado today looked slightly better although still no 500mb flow and just subtle upslope off the Raton Mesa to roll storms into SW Kansas and the Oklahoma Panhandle. Storms were mostly non severe for most of the day but did get a little more potent just before sunset but these were very elevated high based storms you would more expect in the Monsoon season. Some of the guys got some Lightning shots before we headed to Guymon for our overnight stay. A very slow pattern continues for Late May!
